Protium was founded in 2014 from a simple observation: most organisations have enough data, but not enough connection between the places where that data can create value.
Our mission
We bring technology and value together to make companies thrive, grow and survive in the age of AI — through data sovereignty and empowerment.
Since then, the question has stayed the same even as technologies are now called AI, LLMs or agents: how do you let data move safely across organisations, value chains and systems without losing ownership and control?
Our experience comes from enterprise and regulated environments where collaboration only works when data access, governance, security and adoption are designed from the start.
The team behind the service
Protium runs as a team, not a single founder. Platform engineering, trust operations, customer success and partner success roles operate independently of any one individual. Runbooks, SLAs and onboarding playbooks exist so the service is repeatable, not heroic.
Inside the iSHARE Foundation
Protium participates actively in the iSHARE Foundation, the trust framework body for European data spaces. We contribute to standards development and operate as a certified Participant Credential Issuer.
Part of the Neveoh group
Protium.digital BV is part of the Neveoh group, focused on building and operating ventures around governed data access. Protium operates the iSHARE trust infrastructure and the Ozone platform — the foundation other ventures and customers can build on.
